Our nursery team is vocational, highly qualified in childcare and teaching, experienced and fun loving; attending regular training days and courses to expand their knowledge and update their skills.
As a day nursery committed to offering an outstanding quality service, we fully support and encourage all levels of training and currently have staff members working towards even higher levels of childcare qualifications. All staff have been through rigorous vetting procedures including police checks.
Many of our staff have worked at the nursery for many years and are specifically chosen for the quality, loving care they can offer to all of our children.
All Staff hold the appropriate childcare qualifications and are Paediatric First Aid Trained.

Donna Muggeridge – Nursery Manager
Donna has been looking after children at Crown Kindergarten for over 10 years. She is a highly experienced Early Years Practitioner with many years of experience with children of all ages. She holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childcare & Education and a BA in Early Childhood Studies. She holds numerous certificates including Health & Safety, Child Protection, Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Food safety level 2, and Disability & Discrimination.
Louise Muggeridge – Deputy Manager
Originally in charge of catering at our nursery, Louise decided her vocation was working directly with the children. Louise holds a Level 3 Diploma in Early learning & Childcare and is working towards her Foundation Degree in Early Childhood & Education. She holds numerous certificates including the Higher Apprenticeship in Management, Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering. She is also our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENCO).
